Building Resilient Kid's: Therapy Group
Who: Open to boys and girls going into 3rd-5th grades
What: This is a 3 day group therapy program with the first 2 days focused on interactive and engaging curriculum to help kids understand their personal emotions and reactions to hard things. Aiming to help kids to better tolerate adversity and face challenges. The third day adds a unique opportunity for parents to attend an hour long training on parenting these children, and also offers an hour long interactive parent/child session where we help parents and children improve their communication and make a plan to implement these new skills in their homes.
When: Monday June 15th-Wednesday June 17th, from 2:30-5PM each day
Where: Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, main campus
Cost: $400/participant

Our desire with group therapy is to support each individual child, as well as the group as a whole, by creating a space of connection and safety where participants can feel understood, supported, and encouraged.
