Life can be complex, challenging, and, at times, overwhelming. I believe counseling offers a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood as you navigate life's challenges and work toward healing and growth. My approach is rooted in understanding the whole person and recognizing each individual's capacity for resilience and meaningful change. I work with individuals ages 16 and older, as well as couples at every stage of their relationship. I believe no two people share the same story, and counseling should reflect your unique experiences, values, and goals. My hope is to meet you right where you are, walk alongside you, and provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel encouraged and empowered to move forward.
I’m a native Texan and have called this great state home my entire life, aside from a two-year “extended vacation” in Chicago. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and am currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University. My experiences as a wife, mother, educator, and in both professional and volunteer ministry roles have shaped my perspective and deepened my passion for connecting with others through empathy and compassion. Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns. My faith is a pivotal part of my life, and I find joy in serving my church, family, and community.
