Grace
I have pursued this work out of a deep passion for honoring people's stories as they move toward healing and wholeness. I work with children (ages 3+), adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, and the challenges that come with everyday life. Healing and growth are fostered through safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to create a collaborative space where clients and caregivers feel seen, understood, and empowered.
My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs and stage of life. With children, I incorporate developmentally appropriate play-based interventions, and I believe caregivers play an important role in the healing process. I am EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR when appropriate, and I am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential to continue expanding my expertise in working with children and families.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas. I currently practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas under the supervision of Katie Adams, M.Ed., LPC-S.
My faith is an important part of who I am and can be thoughtfully incorporated into therapy when desired, while always honoring each client's beliefs, values, and preferences. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, drinking a hot cup of coffee, and taking my golden retriever for walks.
