Grace
I have pursued this work out of deep passion to embrace and honor people’s stories as they strive towards healing and wholeness through a collaborative process. Much of my experience comes from a ministry context as well as through trauma-informed advocacy work, including supporting children, adolescents, families, and adults. I begin working with children as young as 3 years old, using traditional play therapy, but enjoy working with clients through adulthood. My hope is that through my person-centered approach it allows for us to work together towards your goals and hopes. I believe the therapeutic relationship can provide space for growth to unfold as you explore new ways to navigate our ever-changing world. My faith is an important part of who I am and can be thoughtfully incorporated into our work when meaningful to you, while always honoring each client’s beliefs, values, and preference.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas and later received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas. I currently hold a LPC-A license from the state of Texas and work under the supervision of Katie Adams, M.E.d., LPC-S.
When I am not in the counseling room I often spend my time enjoying family and friends, trying a new coffee shop, or taking my golden retriever for a walk!
